After graduating from the University of California, Riverside, and becoming a mother at the same time, I was not sure how to continue to pursue a career in chemical research. Shortly thereafter, in 2012, I found myself organically researching natural products that could help treat the symptoms of a family member's skin issues. This led me to reading product labels and looking more into the role of different ingredients, and where and how they were sourced. Finally, I decided to use my bench skills during my kids nap times as my formulating hour, while I used my family members' skin as canvases to observe how each natural ingredient and new formulation affected their skin aliments. After observing and researching how blending different natural ingredients produces safe and effective products that improve skin's health, I decided to formulate a natural skincare line for the whole family. After years of formulating, research and attending farmers markets to solicit feedback about my products, I have generated a skincare line concentrated in active, natural ingredients, that is free of synthetic fragrance, emulsifiers and surfactants.
