In the beverage market, there are few healthy Latin American drink alternatives to high-fructose corn syrup or artificially flavored sodas. But in the homes of most immigrant and Latinx families you'll find that we make some of our daily beverages with real ingredients and low added sugar. To fill this significant void in the market we created FRESCOS NATURALES, a Latino- and immigrant-owned Colorado company producing high-quality, low-sugar and culturally authentic aguas frescas. We come from a culture that views food as medicine, as something that can give you a healthy and joyful living. We believe that making all-natural, low-sugar beverages made with real ingredients is a way of doing our part to turn the tide on public health issues like obesity and diabetes that are affecting our communities. Our branding is very purposeful; we emphasize having our drink names in Spanish to highlight our culture and authenticity of our products. We want people from our culture to feel seen and celebrated when they see Frescos on the shelf, while also inviting people who don't know these recipes to have an authentic, healthy experience.
