In the 1970's, Ginger Suhey has 3 sons playing on the Penn State football field. (Matt goes on to play for the Chicago Bears.) She perfects a hot pepper recipe to serve at the large gatherings she hosts on game day. They're a big hit in the community and start to gain a cult following in Pennsylvania. The Suhey's make them by hand in the garage to try and keep up with demand. Eventually, Ginger's son Paul finds a co-packer and founds Suhey Peppers in 2010 as a hobby. His daughter Kara designs the logo and label, and continues to help with the brand over the years. In 2022, Kara and her husband AJ can't shake the feeling that the peppers are really something special. They decide to quit their jobs and move across the country to take the reins, grow the company, and share the peppers with everyone they meet!
