Two years ago, a simple question stirred my conscience: Why must we accept toxins as part of our daily lives? As an ad exec at National Geographic, I confronted the grim reality of toxins and plastics wreaking havoc on our precious planet. Drawn by my centenarian great grandmother's timeless Ayurvedic practices, I embarked on an eye-opening journey alongside rural farmers in India, embracing sustainable living. Thus, Pure Mitti was born, a tribute to my grandmother's wholesome existence and an endeavor to encapsulate the essence of ancient wisdom, culture, and tradition for today's modern consumer. Our toxin-free, plastic-free, and palm oil-free collection spans skincare, haircare, home cleaning, and lifestyle, all rooted in Ayurveda and tailored to contemporary living. Today, we stand proud, having successfully replaced an astonishing 50,786 lbs of plastic waste and uplifting the lives of around 120 rural women. Pure Mitti is more than a name; it's a legacy of connection, responsibility, and reverence for the world we inhabit.
