hey freya

Cecilia, Helkin and Thara are three mothers who joined forces in 2022 to deliver women the care they both desperately need and deserve through clean, effective and carefully selected wellness products to serve women between the "forgotten" time between pregnancy and menopause. After walking with women outdoors during Covid, a common thread among the stories we heard emerged: there was no one caring for the women busy caring for everyone else. We knew we had to make a change. For ourselves and for our daughters. Thara is uniquely qualified as a naturopathic physician, herbalist, and nutritionist specializing in women's health. She was eager to find a way to scale her naturopathic practice to the masses after witnessing the barriers most people face when seeking natural remedies and health tests. Cecilia and Helkin are deeply passionate about women's health and provide decades of finance, CPG, and tech startup experience that, combined with Thara, creates a caring and powerful team that is both experienced and relatable. Together, they hey freya founding team represents the less than 1% of all startups founded by three women -- an even smaller number considering Helkin, Cecilia and Thara are women of color and LGBTQIA+. We are here to open doors to better care and businesses that are led by people who are like us. Every aspect of hey freya is uniquely designed to promote quality of care and uplift those marginalized in our current systems. A difference our early customers feel and crave.
